Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band based mostly out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is produced from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his formative years chum, Spencer Smiths (drums), which includes their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their song, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) by his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed through the band, Wentz personally met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 on the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin magazine as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving bulk magazine b2b #1 on the MySpace chart, and perpetually staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, would simplest guide grow the bands recognition.
